The feast of St Ignatius was celebrated in a grand way and everything was done in a new spirit, since the Superior and the Socius are new. The scholastics were in full swing, spiritually and physically, when the much awaited day, the 31st of July dawned.But prior to that day, we had the novena in honour of our founder where we remembered some of our friends in the Lord who gave glory to God before us. On the day of the feast, Fr Silva Reddy was the main celebrant. The theme, as a golden thread throughout the celebration was "Ever to Love and Serve."
As per the custom at Vidyaniketan, we celebrated our joy with the parishioners also. On the 9th of August, we had a mass in the parish with the same theme. Fr Roland Coelho S
